Alabama kicker Mike McLaughlin brings strong leg pedigree, but current Crimson Tide impact is unclear
Mike McLaughlin is a long-legged kicker prospect from Gautier, Mississippi, and Alabama has valued him as a specialist with notable prep production; one recruiting profile notes he was 39-for-40 on PATs and 12-for-16 on field goals in high school, with enough upside to project as a kickoff and placekicking option. His main differentiator is pure kicking potential rather than proven college production, so he fits best if your team wants developmental depth, leg strength, and long-term upside. At the moment, there isn’t clear public evidence of major on-field 2026 Alabama game impact.
