Packers Rookie WR with Explosive College Pedigree Poised for Breakout
Julian Hicks, the 6'2" undrafted rookie WR for the Green Bay Packers out of UAlbany, exploded in 2023 with 820 receiving yards and 11 TDs across 15 games, earning All-CAA Second Team honors for his big-play ability and red-zone dominance. Limited NFL snaps in 2024 (not enough for PFF grades) and modest 2025 output (5 rec, 31 yds) reflect depth chart battles, but his 31" arms, athletic measurables, and preseason flashes signal untapped upside in a pass-friendly Packers offense. Care because he's a high-motor differentiator with FCS-to-NFL success potential—perfect slot/X fit for teams needing explosive depth without draft capital.
