Veteran Tackler with Playmaking Production for Vanderbilt
Jordan Griffin has the profile of a dependable, physical linebacker: ESPN lists 113 solo tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception, while Vanderbilt’s roster bio shows he was a highly decorated high-school defender with 158 tackles, 9 sacks and 7 fumble recoveries as a senior[1][4]. His value is in consistency, range and instincts rather than flash, and that kind of production usually translates to a player coaches trust in the middle of the defense[1][4].
