Jamarcus Chatman brings size, experience, and interior toughness to Troy’s defensive line
Jamarcus Chatman is a seasoned Troy DT listed at 6-2, 267, with a past as a four-star transfer from Florida State and a track record of contributing in meaningful moments, including a tackle for loss in Troy’s 2022 Sun Belt West-clinching win at Arkansas State[1]. In the 2022 season, he played in eight games with four tackles and a half tackle for loss, and ESPN lists him with 2023 production of one total tackle[1][2]. What stands out most is his experience, frame, and power base—he looks like a dependable interior fit for a team that wants a veteran who can hold ground and flash in run defense rather than just chase splash stats[1][2].
