Michael Gayden brings a stout interior presence to Abilene Christian
Michael Gayden profiles as a **physical interior defensive lineman** whose value comes from holding his ground, disrupting runs, and bringing steady effort in the trenches. Publicly available career notes show him as a productive, experienced defender at previous stops, including **24 tackles in 2021** at Valdosta State with **Honorable Mention All-RMAC** recognition, which suggests a dependable, assignment-sound player rather than a flashy stat compiler. For a team, the appeal is simple: he looks like a fit if you want toughness, consistency, and a rotational DT who can help stabilize the front.
