steady UNI punter with strong directional value
Matt Asman was a reliable field-position weapon for UNI in the 2007 season, handling 33 punts for 1,265 yards, a 38.3-yard average, a long of 54, and only one block while pinning eight punts inside the 20. UNI’s record book still notes him among the school’s career blocked-punt leaders, which hints at a player who had some special-teams volatility but also real impact. If you need a punter who can flip the field and live in the “make them drive it” lane, Asman fits that profile.
