Ryan Belcher brought defensive havoc and all-around toughness to SEMO
Ryan Belcher’s calling card was impact defense: SEMO’s roster bio says he was recruited for his defensive ability, and he set school records with 166 steals in a season and 310 in his career. He also brought usable secondary creation and rebounding, with roster and depth-chart data showing him as a guard who contributed points, boards, assists, and steals rather than being a one-dimensional stopper. That profile makes him valuable for a team that wants a high-motor guard who can disrupt opponents, pressure the ball, and do the little things that win possessions.
