Tremain Smith is a veteran South Alabama defensive back with proven special-teams value
Tremain Smith’s most recent public game and roster data show a veteran, athletic defensive back with clear special-teams juice: he posted **23 tackles** and **2 pass defenses** for Houston in the 2025 NFL season, while PFF notes he added **12 solo tackles** in run support and open-field work despite limited snaps[1][12]. His differentiator is speed and return ability rather than pure coverage polish, with Madden listing **91 speed**, **94 acceleration**, and **83 kick-return** traits[3].
