Angel Lopez brings veteran DB grit and academic polish to Abilene Christian
Angel Lopez is a senior defensive back for Abilene Christian in the 2026 season, listed at 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds, and his value is rooted in reliability, physicality, and football IQ more than flash.[1][2] Earlier ACU coverage shows he was a steady tackler with big-play instincts, including pass breakups, interceptions, and a forced fumble, and he also stood out academically with a 3.44 GPA and multiple honor-roll mentions.[3] If your team wants a tough, experienced DB who likely helps in run support and brings dependable professionalism, Lopez looks like a fit.[2][3]
