Not a Real Player – Cam Cook Leads Jacksonville State FB
Juan Finley is not a real Jacksonville State Gamecocks football player; the name appears to be a confusion with TJ Finley (a Georgia State quarterback) or a fictional entry. The actual standout fullback/running back for Jacksonville State in the 2025 season is Cam Cook, who earned C-USA MVP and Newcomer of the Year honors. Cook’s differentiators include elite intensity, a 1,200+ yard rushing season, and a personality that elevates team morale. He’s a perfect fit for teams needing a high-energy, game-changing back with minimal injury history. Care about Cook because he’s the nation’s top FCS newcomer and a future NFL prospect.
