A former New Mexico State back with a thin public stat trail
Phil Branstetter is listed as a New Mexico State running back in the 1999-00 era, but there is no readily available current-season production, ranking, or recent scouting profile in the accessible public record. The main takeaway: he is a historically documented Aggie, not a player with a visible modern stat line to evaluate, so there is not enough verified evidence to judge present-day fit, explosiveness, or role value from the available data.
