Traveon Beck brings veteran, ball-hawking DB value to Cal
Traveon Beck is a long-time Cal defensive back whose profile is built on range, instincts, and playmaking: in his Cal career he logged 77 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 10 pass breakups, and 14 passes defended. He fits as a competitive, experienced secondary piece with proven ball skills and enough versatility to line up at nickel/corner. The big-career differentiator is his knack for finding the football, not just tackling it—plus he’s been around winning environments and has shown he can create momentum-shifting plays when healthy and locked in.
