Alfred Osorio brings freshman lefty upside to Jackson State
Osorio is a 2026 freshman left-handed pitcher on the Jackson State roster, listed at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds from Loiza, Puerto Rico, with a classic starter’s frame and projectable upside[1][2]. The public roster and game materials do not yet show detailed mound stats, which suggests he’s more of a developmental watch-list arm than a finished product right now[1][3]. His appeal is the southpaw angle, size, and room to grow—exactly the kind of arm that can become valuable if his command and pitch mix come together.
