steady, smart Tritons forward with a grinder’s edge
Kendal Ellenbeck brings a high-IQ, team-first forward presence to UC San Diego, and her standout value has always been reliability, toughness, and quiet versatility. In the 2020-21 season, she appeared in 12 games and posted 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while earlier at UC San Diego she earned CCAA All-Academic honors and was highlighted in a feature about managing Type 1 diabetes while competing at the Division I level. That combo of resilience, discipline, and low-drama consistency makes her the kind of player coaches trust.
