Boobie Hobbs brings rare speed, return-game juice, and old-school Utah toughness
Boobie Hobbs is best remembered as a fast, physical Utah defensive back and return specialist who separated himself with elite punt-return value and top-end speed, including a 4.38-second 40 in Utah’s 2017 media guide. In the 2016 season, he played in 13 games, logged a start at cornerback, and led the nation with 35 punt returns, a sign of how much trust Utah placed in him in high-leverage moments. If your team wants a scrappy playmaker who can swing field position and handle nickel/corner duties, Hobbs fits the bill.
