Reliable Iowa Depth Receiver with Versatility and Grit
Max Cooper is a true Iowa-style depth piece: a competitive, team-first receiver who has contributed as both a pass catcher and punt returner, with career production that includes 5 catches for 14 yards and six punt returns for 29 yards. Iowa’s roster notes also show a multi-year letterman background and a reputation built on reliability rather than volume, which matters in a role where toughness, special-teams value, and assignment discipline can earn trust. He fits best as a low-drama, high-effort complementary option rather than a featured target.
