Leon Hart Jr. brings downhill tackling and special-teams grit to Auburn’s linebacker room
Leon Hart Jr. is an ascending, physical linebacker whose value shows up in run support, tackling volume, and special teams more than splashy box-score numbers; in 2025 at FAU, he flashed impact games with 12 tackles against Maryland, 11 tackles and a forced fumble against Memphis, and 10 tackles at Rice, while his 2024 Marshall season was built on dependable special-teams duty and 13 tackles. He looks like a fit for a staff that values effort, contact courage, and a player who can earn snaps by being assignment-sound and relentless.
