Reliable Backup Center for New Mexico Lobos with Proven Durability
Beau Hott, a 6'3", 273-pound center from Plano, TX, shone as a redshirt sophomore in the 2017 season, appearing in all 12 games for the New Mexico Lobos primarily as a backup and protector on field goals/PATs, showcasing ironclad reliability and positional versatility with snaps at center. His Hudl metrics highlight raw power (345 bench, 32 powerball) despite modest athleticism (5.31 40-yard dash), making him a gritty, high-motor interior lineman ideal for teams needing dependable depth over flash—perfect for run-heavy schemes valuing toughness over elite mobility.
