Johnny Balderas brings veteran depth and special-teams value to San Jose State’s secondary
Balderas is a longtime San Jose State cornerback who offered depth and special-teams utility across multiple seasons, appearing in 11 career games through 2020 and logging reserve duty without recorded defensive stats. His biggest differentiators are experience, positional familiarity, and versatility rather than box-score production, which can still matter for a staff looking for a dependable, assignment-sound defender who knows the program. He is not a headline stat producer, but he profiles as a depth piece who can help stabilize meetings, practice, and special teams. [1]
