Malachi de Sousa brings veteran wing versatility to Rider
Malachi de Sousa is a steady, experienced 6-foot-6 wing who offers position flexibility, defensive length, and a history of contributing in multiple ways; in his Rider career, he averaged 4.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 59 games, with a reputation for versatility more than volume scoring. He previously showed he can be trusted in big moments, including a 22-point game at St. John’s in 2019 and 19 blocks as a freshman at Albany, which hints at a player who impacts games beyond the box score.
