Alan Soler brings projection, polish, and a lefty weapon set to UCF
Soler is a 6-foot-3, left-handed pitcher whose appeal is the classic “ceiling plus feel” combo: he attacks from a three-quarters slot with a clean arm stroke, and evaluators have liked his fastball up to 92 mph with a changeup that projects as a plus pitch. In summer ball in 2026, he showed swing-and-miss ability but also the expected freshman growing pains, so he looks more like a high-upside fit than a finished product. If your team wants a projectable lefty with room to grow, Soler is the kind of arm worth getting excited about.
