High-Volume Wing Who Can Stretch the Floor
Lorenzo Cugini is a 6-foot-7 forward who brings a classic floor-spacing big-man package: in the 2015-16 season at High Point, he showed real value as a perimeter shooter, including a 15-point outing with 5 made threes against Texas Tech and a stretch where he ranked among the nation’s leaders in three-point percentage. He looks like the kind of player who can punish help defense, keep spacing clean, and give a roster a mature, low-drama scoring option. If you need shooting, size, and a forward who fits next to creators, he’s your guy; if you need downhill rim pressure, that’s not the selling point here.
