Luke Walters brings proven high-school production and Colorado tight-end upside
Luke Walters is a Colorado tight end with a strong in-state résumé: he was a two-year starter and earned honorable mention All-State honors after posting 20 catches for 464 yards and 6 touchdowns as a senior. That profile points to a player with real receiving upside, consistency, and game-to-game reliability rather than just raw size. For a staff looking for a TE who can work as a steady chain-mover and red-zone target, Walters is attractive because his production suggests feel, ball skills, and competitiveness that translate beyond the box score.
