Auburn’s compact floor general who wins with pace, craft, and pressure
Harper’s calling card is his **elite control of the offense**: he’s a quick, low-turned-over lead guard who can create shots for himself and others, and his Auburn résumé shows he consistently produced as a high-minute floor general. In 2018-19, he averaged **15.3 points and 5.8 assists** per game, and USA Basketball notes his broader pro/Auburn track record includes **1,427 career points, 510 assists, and 122 steals** in 106 college games, underscoring both playmaking and defensive disruption. He’s the kind of guard you want if you value toughness, tempo, and late-clock poise over size.
