Big, smart, and battle-tested Cyclones line depth
Jacob Gannon is a former Iowa State offensive lineman whose calling card was size, consistency, and academic discipline: at 6-foot-7 and 306 pounds, he earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 in 2014 and was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 selection, including three straight first-team honors. In the 2014 season, he started nine of 10 games and finished with 21 career starts, which points to a reliable, experienced presence rather than a flashy stat-sheet guy. If you value toughness, length, and steadiness up front, he fits the mold.
