steady Sam Houston guard with proven floor feel
Brad Koenig has been a compact, experienced Sam Houston guard whose value comes from steadiness, decision-making, and doing the little things that keep an offense organized. The available stats show modest scoring output, so his appeal is less about volume and more about control, toughness, and fitting into a team concept rather than forcing possessions. He looks like the kind of guard coaches trust for structure and ball security, which makes him a better fit for a roster needing poise and reliability than one looking for a high-usage shot creator.
