Wendell Wright brings veteran guard savvy to South Alabama
Wendell Wright is a seasoned South Alabama guard with a strong team-first profile and a clear winning mindset; in 2012-13, the program listed him as a senior at 6-foot-6, 205 pounds, and his player bio emphasized that he chose South Alabama for a “great opportunity to play and get my degree,” with the goal of making the NCAA Tournament[1][3]. He stood out for competitiveness, a desire to dunk on opponents, and pro-level ambition, but publicly available stats from the school do not show a current statistical line, so the best read is a veteran presence whose value comes from experience, toughness, and energy more than box-score flash[1][3].
