a versatile cornerback profile with veteran pedigree
Buck Wilson entered Southeast Missouri State as a 2013 two-star cornerback recruit from Commerce, Texas, bringing a two-way background that hints at ball skills, toughness, and competitive instincts. His high-school résumé showed impact on both sides of the ball — 52 tackles and 868 receiving yards with nine touchdowns as a senior — which is usually the kind of profile that screams playmaker, not just cover guy. The catch: publicly available current stat lines for his college performance are limited, so the best signal here is his multidimensional athletic profile and upside as a physical, instinctive defensive back fit.
