Payton List is JMU’s do-it-all power arm and middle-order bat
Payton List is a high-impact **two-way player** whose value goes well beyond box scores: in 2026 for James Madison, she hit .302 with 11 home runs while also logging a career-high 116.2 innings in the circle, earning First Team All-Sun Belt and NFCA First Team All-Region honors.[2] Her standout trait is versatility—she can change a game with both power and innings-eating pitching, and she has already shown she can deliver in big moments, including ranked wins and multiple Sun Belt Player of the Week honors.[4][6] If you need a competitor who can hit for damage and stabilize your pitching staff, she fits the bill.[4][9]
