Bahamas' Lone DI Gridiron Pioneer from Idaho Vandals OL
Kato Fawkes stands out as the only Division I football player from the Bahamas, bringing massive 6-4, 303-pound size and JUCO pedigree from Iowa Western CC—where his team led the league in total offense (522.5 ypg) and passing (257.5 ypg) in his starting role as a second-team All-Iowa selection. Played for Idaho Vandals in 2014-2015, contributing to early wins like a 20-17 thriller over Montana State; rated solid (Size 6/6, Strength 5/6) by 247Sports with reliable pass blocking. A gritty, milestone-chasing international talent ideal for teams needing depth and unique cultural intensity on the line—no major injury flags.
