Gerald Dowe brings upside and physical edge to Youngstown State’s linebacker room
Gerald Dowe is an intriguing Youngstown State linebacker with the kind of physical, downhill profile that can translate well in the trenches, but there is not enough verified 2026 stat data available here to quantify his current production. What stands out is the fit: if he’s on the field, he profiles as a tough, contact-forward defender who can help a defense by playing fast and setting a tone, not just padding tackle numbers. For a team, that usually means a player worth watching for special teams, depth, and eventual starter upside.
