veteran Prairie View A&M QB with a proven big-play spark
Jonathan Troast is a senior quarterback at Prairie View A&M with size (6-2, 200) and experience, and his profile suggests a seasoned, playable fit rather than a raw project. Prairie View’s 2011 preview noted he had taken most spring reps and entered that season with the inside edge after starting the first two games in 2010 before a season-ending injury; later team coverage highlighted a career-high outing with four touchdown passes, showing he can swing a game when he gets rolling. The read here: if you want a poised, veteran QB who can flash explosiveness, Troast is worth a close look.
