Cyprien is a physical, downhill safety whose calling card has long been tackling and run support; in his NFL career he totaled 515 tackles, 3 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles, and he was productive enough to start 71 of 79 games after coming out of FIU.[1][2][5] He is a former second-round pick with leadership-level experience, but the available sources show he last played in 2020 and is now retired, so he is not a current on-field fit for FIU’s roster.[2][4][14]
