Marshall's Tackling Machine and C-USA Defensive Star (2011)
Tyson Gale, a standout linebacker for Marshall Thundering Herd from 2008-2011, exploded as a senior captain with 95 tackles (2nd on team) and a team-high 12.5 TFLs, earning C-USA Defensive Player of the Week honors after a dominant Oct. 3, 2011 performance; his leadership powered the Herd to a Beef 'O'Brady's Bowl win, showcasing relentless intensity, captain-level intangibles, and all-state pedigree from Alva HS—now thriving as a strength coach at UT Martin, he's the prototype LB for teams craving tough, proven winners.
