undersized Fresno State linebacker with a long bulldog grind
Adam DeCosta’s Fresno State profile paints him as a classic underdog linebacker: at 5-8 and 194 pounds, he wasn’t built like a prototype, but he earned snaps the hard way and was already third on the team in tackles in his freshman season, which is a strong tell for motor and instincts. Fresno State’s roster info also notes he was an academic all-conference type and a walk-on, which points to toughness, discipline, and buy-in—traits coaches love. If you value effort, special-teams grit, and a player who punches above his size, he’s absolutely a name to care about.
