Brad Woodson brings veteran, walk-on grit to Tennessee backcourt
In the 2018-19 season, Brad Woodson was a senior guard for Tennessee and appeared in limited minutes, with ESPN listing him at 1.0 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game; his real value was his veteran feel, practice toughness, and high-IQ, coachable presence as a former walk-on from Murfreesboro. Tennessee’s roster notes also list him as a 6-1 senior guard, while earlier team coverage described him as a hard-working, basketball-savvy reserve whose energy and team-first approach made him a reliable culture piece. If you want a glue guy who understands the program and won’t flinch under the lights, he fits the bill.
