Oliver Xu brings veteran size and stability to Rice’s backcourt
Oliver Xu is a 6-foot-2 senior guard for Rice who offers experience, composure, and backcourt depth rather than flashy box-score volume. In his Rice career, he has been a low-usage, role-oriented player with limited minutes, but his profile suggests a steady, coachable guard who understands positioning and team basketball. He also brings uncommon perspective and maturity from a basketball family and international background, which can matter in locker-room chemistry and game management. A fit for teams needing a dependable, experienced guard who keeps the offense organized.
