Veteran Rice QB Who Can Steady the Offense and Deliver in Clutch Moments
Fanuzzi is a seasoned Rice quarterback with clear late-game poise, having helped drive a game-winning finish against North Texas and produced efficient passing bursts, including a 15-for-24, 218-yard, 4-TD outing and a 12-for-23, 189-yard, 1-TD performance in key games.[1][2][3] His differentiator is experience: Rice notes he was a veteran of the quarterback room who took over as starter late in his senior year and helped the Owls finish 2-2, while his career totals show real volume with 4,402 passing yards and 29 touchdowns.[3][5] He looks like a fit for a team that values composure, experience, and a quarterback who can manage the game and make timely throws when the stakes rise.[2][3]
