Underwood is a 6-foot-4, 310-pound redshirt freshman defensive tackle at Troy who has yet to see game action, so his current value is about projection more than production in the 2024 season. The appeal is obvious: he brings prototypical interior size for eating blocks, but his real differentiator is upside—if his hands, leverage, and motor translate, he could become the kind of nose/DT who changes how offenses have to protect the run game. Right now, he’s a bet on traits, not stats.
