B.J. Brown brings depth and size to Eastern Illinois’ secondary
B.J. Brown is listed on Eastern Illinois’ 2025 roster as a 6-1, 200-pound freshman defensive back, giving the Panthers a long, physical frame in the secondary[1]. The available public data is thin, but his roster placement with a Football Championship Subdivision program suggests a developmental corner with upside rather than a proven stat-sheet star yet[1][2]. What matters here is fit: if a team wants a CB who can grow into press coverage and add toughness on the outside, Brown looks like a “bet on traits” prospect with room to climb[1].
