Jeremy Sheffield is the Hoyas’ big-bodied bat-to-ball spark plug
In the 2026 season, Jeremy Sheffield has been Georgetown’s most productive everyday infielder, leading the Hoyas by April with a .380/.482/.533 slash line, 52 hits, 35 RBIs, 10 doubles, a triple and three homers. At 6'5" with a right-handed bat, he brings unusual size for an infielder, plus a polished strike-zone approach and enough contact authority to drive the baseball to all fields. He also earned BIG EAST Player of the Week honors in 2026 after a 10-RBI series burst, which is a good sign he can carry an offense when he’s rolling.
