veteran frontcourt glue piece with rebounding grit
Krista Pettepier is a 6-foot-2 forward who gave Pepperdine reliable frontcourt minutes, with her game built around rebounds, interior defense, and low-mistake effort over big scoring numbers. In the 2015-16 season, she appeared in 27 games and contributed 30 rebounds, 10 blocks, seven assists, and four steals while shooting 6-for-8 from the free-throw line. Her value is the kind coaches love: physical presence, consistency, and academic/locker-room reliability. If a team wants a steady, team-first forward who can do the dirty work, she fits that mold nicely.
