Western Illinois DL David Williams: little public stat trail, potential value as a depth anchor
David Williams is listed as a defensive lineman for Western Illinois, but the public stat trail in the available sources is thin, so his profile is more about role and roster fit than proven production. That said, a DL who stays on the field and gives a staff dependable interior effort can matter a lot in the MVFC-style trenches. If you want a young developmental piece with size, toughness, and the upside to grow into a rotational run-stopper, he’s the kind of player worth tracking; if you need a verified impact producer today, the current public data doesn’t yet show that.
