Dan Scianna brings veteran playmaking juice to Furman’s linebacker room
Scianna’s value is in the little linebacker things that win possessions: in the 2023 season, he posted 78 career tackles noted by Furman, logged 11 starts, and delivered a pick-six against Tennessee Tech, showing he can trigger fast and flip games with instincts rather than flash. He’s a sturdy, experienced fit for a defense that wants reliability, urgency, and a downhill tone-setter. If your team needs a veteran communicator who can diagnose, tackle, and make an explosive impact when the ball is there, he’s worth a close look.
