Southern Jaguars DB with Limited Spotlight but Untapped Potential
Joe Manning, a cornerback for the Southern University Jaguars (FCS), boasts complete career stats on ESPN covering defense and more, though specific 2025 numbers remain sparse in public data—highlighting his role in a lower-division program where he likely excels in coverage and tackling fundamentals. A former Florida State commit from Tallahassee (per 247Sports), his differentiator is that high-major pedigree paired with FCS grit, suggesting elite footwork, ball skills, and intensity ideal for teams needing versatile DB depth; no notable injury history, making him a low-risk, high-upside fit for Power 5 programs seeking developmental talent.
