veteran WKU safety who brings tackling consistency and academic leadership
Brian Lowder was a proven, high-intensity safety for Western Kentucky, leading the secondary with 74 tackles and six tackles for loss while earning First-Team Academic All-American honors in 2002. His value goes beyond the box score: he paired physical, reliable run support with discipline and steady production, which is exactly what teams want from a defensive back who can anchor the back end and set the tone. For a staff looking for toughness, consistency, and leadership, Lowder profiles as a smart fit.
