Isabella O’Brien is a steady, high-upside arm for Youngstown State
In the 2026 season, Isabella O’Brien emerged as a reliable starter for Youngstown State, earning Horizon League Pitcher of the Week after a shutout, 13 strikeouts, and a 3-0 stretch over six appearances. Her calling card is command plus composure: she has shown she can work deep into games, throw complete-game shutouts, and bounce back after rough outings without losing the strike zone. At 5-foot-6, she wins with poise, pitchability, and competitive grit more than pure size — the kind of pitcher who can stabilize a staff and fit a team that values toughness.
