Southern Miss’s physical, lower-profile RB option with fit-and-fight upside
Ryan Earnest projects as a gritty, team-first Southern Miss back whose value is likely tied to physicality, downhill toughness, and reliability rather than flash; however, the available results do not provide verified recent college production, rankings, or injury details for a current Southern Miss RB profile, so the clearest takeaway is that he should be evaluated as a potential fit for a staff that values competitive intensity, versatility, and special-teams-minded dependability over pure stat-sheet pop.
