Texas State RB with Elite High School Pedigree, Limited College Impact
Stedman Mayberry, a former Top 20 Texas high school RB per Dave Campbell's Football, exploded for 2,593 rushing yards and 23 TDs on 376 carries over four prep seasons, showcasing explosive vision and power—but his Texas State career (joined 2015) has been underwhelming, limited to just 54 yards on 12 carries in one game amid injuries and depth chart battles, raising red flags on durability and D1 translation. Care if you need a high-upside project back with proven HS intensity; solid fit for teams seeking raw talent over immediate production.
