Walter Neil brings veteran CB savvy and steady tackling to UTEP
Walter Neil is a seasoned cornerback whose best value is reliability: in the 2019 season at Kansas State, he played in 11 games with 10 starts, logging 21 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and an interception, then later added 32 tackles and two pass breakups in his first UTEP season. He looks like a fit for teams that want an experienced, physical defensive back who can handle assignments, contribute in run support, and bring mature, transfer-hardened stability to the secondary.
